What is your medication policy?

November 21, 2016 by

If your child has to be given prescription medications at camp, you must fill out our medical form and take that form to camp on the first day. All medications must be given to our Camp Director at check-in. The medication must be in original containers that identify the prescribing physician, the name of the medication, the dosage, and the frequency of administration. The medication will be dispensed by the camp director as instructed by you.

Campers are not permitted to keep medication during the day, or self-administer items such as cough drops, ointments etc.  If your child needs such items, please stop by during the camp day and administer yourself.  This policy also includes Epi-Pens. All Epi-Pens (or similar type medications) will be stored in a safe location by the director.  Parents are responsible for picking up all prescription medications from the director on Friday.
