The Full Day Summer Camp Program

• Full day camps start at $410 per week (prices vary by location and camp theme)
• The following camps have an additional $10 Lab Fee for a total tuition of $420 per week.  These camps have an extraordinary amount of supplies and/or very costly supplies.

Extended Day

• Optional: Pre-camp care is available at all of our locations starting at 8am and is $30 for the week.
• Optional: Post-camp care is offered at certain locations running from 4pm- 5:30pm and is $45 for the week.

During the Extended Day hours, we provide an assortment of games, science books, and arts & craft supplies for campers to enjoy during Pre & Post camp.  Sometimes a G-rated movie may be watched during Post-Camp, and sometimes campers play on playgrounds (if available).  We do not teach science content during these hours as we have found children to be academically fatigued after 4pm.

Some of our locations have additional facility and security fees added onto the base registration. There is a $10 facility fee added to all University Park UMC and Willow Bend Camps.

The Half Day Summer Camp Program

For our 4-5 year old campers, in addition to the full day camp option, we also offer a half-day camp option. The hours are from 9:00am-1:00pm and the cost is $300 per week. Post Camp services are not available for the half-day program.  There is no nap/rest time for half day or full day campers. Please send a packed lunch with your half day camper.

You can easily use your credit from your Active account from Summer 2022 or Summer 2023 when registering for any of our Club SciKidz camps offered through OUR website. Account credits CANNOT be used towards camp with one of our Vendor Partners (Wylie Parks & Rec, Alcuin, St. John Episcopal School)

Simply add the camp(s) you would like to register your camper for and proceed to the check out screen. Once you are logged into your parent account either on our Club SciKidz app or via internet browser, you will see the following option at checkout. \

Here, you will be able to apply any remaining credits you may have!

Again, you may ONLY use your credits when registering for camp through our website. They are not able to be used with any of our Vendor Partner Sites as they process their registrations through their own program.  Credits from Summer 2021 and prior have unfortunately expired within Active.

* Please note that multi-session and multi-person discounts only apply for registrations that are purchased on the SAME ORDER (i.e. as part of the same shopping cart). This means that if you register one child and then registers another child a week later as part of a different order, they will not get a multi-child discount.  Active can only recognize and apply this discount for sessions on the same order.

2026 FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION POLICY

You now are able to self-transfer and self-cancel your registrations! Simply log into your Parent Account via internet browser to proceed! You may still email us for assistance if needed.

For assistance transferring or cancelling a registration with one of our vendor partner sites, (GSES, Wylie Parks & Rec, Episcopal School of Dallas, or St. John’s Episcopal School) you must contact them directly.

If you enroll in camp and your plans change, you can cancel and receive a refund or credit according to our policy. Our policy encourages early decisions so as not to affect other customers or our ability to efficiently deliver our programs.  It is also based on the fact that supplies are purchased for your child in early Spring. Because we cover Active’s registration fees for you, each registration cancellation will incur a fee to cover administrative costs.  There are no exceptions. This fee is built into our policy timetable outlined below.

CAMP TRANSFER:

You now have the ability to complete a camp transfer via your parent Active account!  If your child is not able to attend their scheduled camp week(s), we recommend trying to transfer their registration(s) to a different week or location.  The new camp week(s) must be within the same summer season, and must have availability.

To complete a transfer, log into your Active account here. Then, view under Current & Upcoming tab, identify the session to transfer out of, click Edit, then click Transfer. You may then view the available camp sessions and select the one you would like to transfer to. Please carefully review the date and location of the camp session for accuracy. Only open sessions that have spots available will be able to be chosen, you may not transfer to a waitlist.

No transfers may be completed less than 14 days prior to the start of our current camp session. All transfers made 48 hours or more after registering will incur a $5 processing fee. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to email us at hello@clubscikidzdallas.com

CAMP CANCELLATION:

If you are not able to make a transfer work with your schedule (see above), you can cancel for a partial refund or account credit according to the timetable below.

ILLNESS/INJURY:  if your child has an unexpected illness (ex: flu/strep/Covid etc) or injury (ex: broken leg) that prevents them from attending the entire week of camp, please contact us immediately.  After a Dr.’s note is provided, 75% of the camp tuition will be credited to your account for the following summer.

Account credits are valid for 1 year, can be used for any Club SciKidz Dallas camps; and can be used for any member of your family.  You will receive first access to register for the upcoming season if you have an account credit on file.

It is camp policy that no refunds will be made in connection with late arrivals, early withdrawals, a camper not liking their camp’s theme, or camp dismissals due to misconduct. Missed days of camp are not refunded or transferred (e.g. missed Friday and want to come back next week for a day. However, we will do our best to provide you with any materials missed, such as robots, when applicable).

You may now cancel your registrations yourself via the Club SciKidz app! You may also email us for help or questions at hello@clubscikidzdallas.com.

Example:  “Please cancel John Smith’s camp “Minecraft Specialist” the week of June 10 at Willow Bend Church as he is unable to attend.”

You will receive an automated email from Active once any changes have been processed.  Please verify that all camp change details are reflected correctly.  If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask!

Yes!  Every year, Club SciKidz Dallas makes available a number of scholarships for our camps with our two different scholarship programs: the Shelby Jean Scholarship and the MJ Graves Scholarship. One scholarship application per family, please!

The Shelby Jean Scholarships are awarded to families that need financial assistance providing the camp experience for their children.  Please click HERE for the application.

The MJ Graves Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to a camper interested in attending a video game/coding themed camp.  Please click HERE for the application.

All applications are due by March 1 and the recipients will be notified via email by April 1.

Our current camp offerings are designed for three different age groups of campers:

• Camps for children ages 4-5
• Camps for children ages 6-8
• Camps for children ages 9-13

You will register your camper based on their age as of June 1st.

(Please note that all children must be completely potty trained).

Club SciKidz carefully considers the age range for each course as we receive feedback from our instructors, parents, and campers. Our policy is to keep campers in their age-level appropriate camps.

Example: If you see a camp for ages 6-8 and your child is currently 5, but will turn 6 in March, you can register your child for that camp.

Since we have taken into account many considerations in matching our age groups and camp themes, it is generally best for the child to adhere to those requirements. Please remember that an age group contains not only a certain intellectual and skill set, but also a certain level of social maturity. These requirements allow Club SciKidz to meet the needs of each camper.  We generally do not recommend bumping your child up to the next age group if they are not old enough.  For example, an 8 year old may be very advanced at coding; but may struggle socially/emotionally if placed in a coding camp designed for ages 9-13.

Campers must be at least 4 years old on the start date of their camp.  Campers who are entering PreK3 are not eligible.  All campers must be completely potty trained as our staff cannot assist in the restrooms.

If  you do decide to bump your child up an age group, please be aware of our refund policy.  Transferring after the week of camp has started, to a different camp due to age appropriateness or skill level, must take place within that same week of camp and is contingent on availability in the newly desired camp.  We will do our best to accommodate these situations but we may have limited options when all camps are sold out.  There is also a $10 transfer fee for all camp transfers.

The full day camp hours are from 9:00am to 4:00pm. You may drop off your child no earlier than 9:00am and pickup no later than 4:00pm unless you have paid for the Pre or Post camp care.  Pre Camp care begins at 8am and Post Camp care ends at 5:30.  Campers not picked up by 5:30 will incur a fee of $1 per additional minute.

Our 4-5 year old camps have a Half Day camp option.  Half-Day campers are to be picked up at promptly at 1:00pm, as there is no Post camp services available for them.

We have extended care at ALL of our locations, however not all locations offer both Pre Camp and Post Camp care. This is due to staffing conflicts.

The cost is $30.00 per week for Pre Camp care which starts at 8:00 am.  Post Camp care runs from 4:00pm – 5:30 pm and costs $45.00 dollars per week. Campers that are picked up later than 5:30 pm will incur additional charges at the rate of $1.00 per minute. Please do not drop your child off before 8am, we are not staffed to care for campers earlier than 8am.

In a pinch, you can pay the daily rate (divide weekly rate by 5) that morning if you just need services for that day. All parents should make sure they record the Director’s phone extension # in case they need to communicate with the camp site.

During extended care, campers have access to games, science books, educational toys, and arts & crafts supplies.  Depending on the host site’s campus, campers may also go play on the playground.  A G-rated movie may also be shown during Post-Camp care.  No science curriculum is taught during extended care.

Full-day campers will complete between 15-20 age-appropriate lessons each week depending on the camp theme and rate of learning! Some lessons are longer and take more time to explore and some groups are very intrigued by a certain lesson and want to spend additional time on it. Our schedule allows for this flexibility so that each experience is unique to the campers and their needs.

Typical Daily Schedule

*Our half day option is only available for the PreK & K grade campers. The half day camper’s day will go from 9-1pm. Pack a lunch and snack. They will have recess after lunch but will miss our afternoon outdoor component and afternoon science lessons. 

If they are already going to school, or going to school in the fall, we highly recommend the full day camp.  Most campers in this age group opt for Full Day camp.  If you register for Half Day, and you desire to switch to Full Day once the camp week has started, please let the director know.  We can pro-rate the remaining days.

Campers do have an outdoor recess period for 30 minutes each day.  Other camps may do specific lessons outside at the counselors’ discretion.

The camp hours are from 9:00am to 4:00pm. You may drop off your child no earlier than 9:00am and pickup no later than 4:00pm unless you have paid for the Pre or Post camp services.

Pre-Camp campers may be dropped off no earlier than 8am.  Our staff is preparing for the day and cannot accept children before 8am. Pre-Camp is offered at all of our locations.

Post-Camp campers may be picked up as late as 5:30pm.  A late fee will be assessed for campers picked up after 5:30 as Club SciKidz makes every effort to respect our employees’ personal time. Post-Camp is offered at many, but not all, of our locations.

Half-Day campers are to be picked up at 1:00pm as there is no Post camp service available for them.  The half day option is only available for 4-5 year old camps.

We accept all credit and debit cards using our online registration service. To register, go to our registration page by clicking on “Enroll”. Every camp registration must be completed and paid for using our online registration system. We are able to accept checks and cash at our camp locations to pay for t-shirts and extended day services only.
