Camp Lego Robotics with SPIKE Prime
Ages: 9-13
Cost: $410/week (Full Day 9-4pm)
**Formerly known as Advanced Robotics with LEGO SPIKE**
The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Set is the newest STEAM learning tool for campers ages 9-13. Combining colorful LEGO building elements, easy–to–use hardware, and an intuitive drag–and–drop coding language based on Scratch, SPIKE Prime continuously engages campers through playful learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems, regardless of their learning level. From easy–entry projects to limitless creative design possibilities, including the option to explore text–based coding with Python, SPIKE Prime helps campers learn the essential STEAM and 21st century skills needed to become the innovative minds of tomorrow… while having fun!
Some general prior knowledge of block coding and robotic programming would be helpful for campers interested in registering for our Robotics with Lego SPIKE, but beginners are welcome!
Camper Projects include:
- building a driving vehicle
- exploring forecasts, weather and cloud data,
- detecting moving objects
- exploring and comparing the efficiency of two robotic
arms. - studying how robots can complete tasks in space that humans cannot.

Please note, this is a generalized daily scheduled so actual lesson times and activity duration may vary slightly. Campers will complete 15-20 lessons each week depending on the theme and the rate in which campers complete each lesson. You can view the Activity Sheets in your camp information email that will be sent out the week prior to camp.
Hours & Fees
Camp Hours vary by location, please check your campus details carefully. The majority of locations operate Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. We also offer optional Pre Camp care ($30/wk), starting at 8am, and Post Camp care ($45/wk) which ends at 5:30pm, at select campuses.
Camps start at $410/week for Full Day Camps. The Half Day camp option is available for ages 4-5 only, and is $300/week.

If your child requires any prescription medications during the time he/she is at the camp, please download this form and print it, fill in the required information, fax it over to 214-530-5979 and bring it with the child on the first day of camp.
