Welcome to Camp Crazy Contraptions, where young engineers aged 9-13 embark on an exciting journey into the world of mechanical engineering! Our camp offers engaging activities and experiments that ignite curiosity and foster teamwork while exploring the principles of engineering.

Engineering Summer Camp for Middle School & Elementary Students

In Crazy Contraptions, one of our popular engineering summer camps, campers will get to experience blue printing, collaboration, and important life lessons like persevering through failures, and celebrating successes.

Some of the topics covered in this camp are Newton’s Laws of Motion, physics, energy, and much more. This is a hands-on camp and extremely collaborative. Campers will use Keva Planks, engineering kits, and your everyday household items to complete the different challenges ahead.

Please note, this is a generalized daily scheduled so actual lesson times and activity duration may vary slightly. Campers will complete 15-20 lessons each week depending on the theme and the rate in which campers complete each lesson. You can view the Activity Sheets in your camp information email that will be sent out the week prior to camp. 

Hours & Fees

Camp Hours vary by location, please check your campus details carefully.  The majority of locations operate Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.  We also offer optional Pre Camp care ($30/wk), starting at 8am, and Post Camp care ($45/wk) which ends at 5:30pm, at select campuses.

Camps start at $410/week for Full Day Camps.  The Half Day camp option is available for ages 4-5 only, and is $300/week.
