Course Description

Camp Jr. Meteorologist

Ages: 6-8

Cost: $410/week (Full Day)

Campers will become meteorologists for the week and discover why our weather changes! Our Jr. Meteorologists will measure and record rainfall, create a water cycle wheel, build a weather station, learn about the Greenhouse Effect, create a terrarium, design their own tornadoes, create “snow” during the summer and more! Before you know it, your Jr. Meteorologist will be on the 6 o’clock news doing the weather!

In addition: Campers will end the week demonstrating the three states of matter by making and eating some delicious ice cream. Throughout the week they will take home projects that include: sun prints, UV beads, a wind vane, anemometer, and a very cool rain stick!

Please note, this is a generalized daily scheduled so actual lesson times and activity duration may vary slightly. Campers will complete 15-20 lessons each week depending on the theme and the rate in which campers complete each lesson. You can view the Activity Sheets in your camp information email that will be sent out the week prior to camp. 

Hours & Fees

Camp Hours vary by location, please check your campus details carefully.  The majority of locations operate Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.  We also offer optional Pre Camp care ($30/wk), starting at 8am, and Post Camp care ($45/wk) which ends at 5:30pm, at select campuses.

Camps start at $410/week for Full Day Camps.  The Half Day camp option is available for ages 4-5 only, and is $300/week.
