Camp Young Surgeon
Age Group: rising 4th-7th graders
Cost: $349/ week (Mon-Fri 9-4pm)
Campers learn about the life of physicians and surgeons, and are exposed to the important life saving techniques of first aid. Numerous hands-on projects include using medical instruments, triage and diagnosis, and how to give a shot. We also explore the structures and physiology of the amazing human body!
Projects include: sheep heart and frog dissection, making herbal medicines, learning to stitch a wound, build a lung model, first aid techniques and splinting.
In addition, each camper will receive a stethoscope, first aid supplies, and take their “Medical Boards” at the end of the week to receive their certificate.

Hours & Fees
Camp Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. We also offer optional Pre Camp care ($30/wk), starting at 8am, and Post Camp care ($45/wk) which ends at 5:30pm.
Camps start at $325/week for Full Day Camps. The Half Day camp option is available for PreK & Kindergarten camps only, and is $275/week.
Camps offered the week of July 4th (at HPPC only) are FOUR DAY camps (July 5-8) and are prorated accordingly.
