Course Description
Jr. Veterinary Medicine
Ages: 6-8
Cost: $420 per week (M-F 9:00a-4:00p)

Emergency Vet is a camper favorite, and we’ve been receiving requests for years to create a “Vet Camp” for our younger campers. Because of those requests, Jr. Vet Med was born!
Campers will begin learning about what a vet is and what they do. They will learn the basic anatomy of and care for both cats and dogs, as well as more advanced care like stitches and broken bones. They’ll also spend time learning about the different body systems, including the circulatory, respiratory, and skeleton systems, by creating and making models of these important systems. Campers could potentially even have a visit from a real dog** where they will get to practice what they have been learning! Throughout the week, your aspiring veterinarian will do 20 different and engaging hands-on activity and projects! At the end of the week, all campers will bring home their Future Veterinarian Kit and first aid supply kit.
**Each week, we invite a local Veterinarian, Vet Tech, and/or Pet Groomer to be a guest speaker for our campers. However, these professionals are very busy, and alternate activities are planned in case they cannot get away from their office.
Typical Daily Schedule
Check out our “Typical Day” schedule HERE!
Please note, this is a generalized daily scheduled so actual lesson times and activity duration may vary slightly. Campers will complete 15-20 lessons each week depending on the theme and the rate in which campers complete each lesson. You can view the Activity Sheets in your camp information email that will be sent out the week prior to camp.
Hours & Fees
Camp Hours vary by location, please check your campus details carefully. The majority of locations operate Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. We also offer optional Pre Camp care ($30/wk), starting at 8am, and Post Camp care ($45/wk) which ends at 5:30pm, at select campuses.
Camps start at $410/week for Full Day Camps. The Half Day camp option is available for ages 4-5 only, and is $300/week.
