Course Description
Camp Jurassic Dinosaur Camp
Ages: 4-5
Cost: Full Day $410/ week (Mon-Fri 9-4pm) or Half Day $300/week (9-1pm)
Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are very much alive in Camp Jurassic! In this dinosaur camp, campers learn about a variety of dinosaurs and their habitats. Rocks, minerals and fossils are studied along with a variety of related projects.
Our paleontology themed dinosaur summer camp projects may include:
- Making a dinosaur model
- Panning for gems and minerals
- Building a volcano
- Casting a sea shell fossil
- Dinosaur dig
Special emphasis is placed on observation, inference, data collection, and just plain old fun! This is Geology 101!
Please note: all campers MUST be 4 years old by the start of their camp week and must be completely potty-trained (please read more HERE).

Please note, this is a generalized daily scheduled so actual lesson times and activity duration may vary slightly. Campers will complete 15-20 lessons each week depending on the theme and the rate in which campers complete each lesson. You can view the Activity Sheets in your camp information email that will be sent out the week prior to camp.
Hours & Fees
Camp Hours vary by location, please check your campus details carefully. The majority of locations operate Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. We also offer optional Pre Camp care ($30/wk), starting at 8am, and Post Camp care ($45/wk) which ends at 5:30pm, at select campuses.
Camps start at $410/week for Full Day Camps. The Half Day camp option is available for ages 4-5 only, and is $300/week.

If your child requires any prescription medications during the time he/she is at the camp, please download this form and print it, fill in the required information, fax it over to 214-530-5979 and bring it with the child on the first day of camp.
