Course Description

Camp Lego WeDo Robotics

Ages: 6-8

Cost: $410/ week (Mon-Fri 9-4pm)

Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors, and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. Counselors guide campers through their first 12 robot models, which include a variety of animals, amazing mechanisms, and adventure stories.

When ready, campers then move to advanced building and programming projects that may include: a prosthetic hand, a moon rover, race car, a ferris wheel, or a carousel. As the week draws to a close, campers complete extra challenges and fun games as a group.  Campers will also complete a small LEGO® project that they will be able to take home.

Please note, this is a generalized daily scheduled so actual lesson times and activity duration may vary slightly. Campers will complete 15-20 lessons each week depending on the theme and the rate in which campers complete each lesson. You can view the Activity Sheets in your camp information email that will be sent out the week prior to camp. 

Hours & Fees

Camp Hours vary by location, please check your campus details carefully.  The majority of locations operate Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.  We also offer optional Pre Camp care ($30/wk), starting at 8am, and Post Camp care ($45/wk) which ends at 5:30pm, at select campuses.

Camps start at $410/week for Full Day Camps.  The Half Day camp option is available for ages 4-5 only, and is $300/week.
