Course Description

Camp Little Chemist

Ages: 4-5

Cost: Full Day $410/ week (Mon-Fri 9-4pm) or Half Day $300/week (9-1pm)

It is time for Glues, Brews, and Goos! From our stockpile of hundreds of recipes and formulas, we have chosen our top favorite chemistry activities. Campers will love digging into and examining the results of these crazy chemical concoctions!  Sample projects include: Blob Explosions, Funny Putty, Magic Bubble Paint, Make your own Chewing Gum.

In addition:
Campers will create several other wacky, wild, and crazy concoctions! Our Little Chemists will realize the importance of measurement and sequencing as they use a taco sauce creation to clean pennies and investigate candy chromatography.

*Please note: all campers MUST be 4 years old by the start of their camp week and must be completely potty-trained (please read more HERE)

Please note, this is a generalized daily scheduled so actual lesson times and activity duration may vary slightly. Campers will complete 15-20 lessons each week depending on the theme and the rate in which campers complete each lesson. You can view the Activity Sheets in your camp information email that will be sent out the week prior to camp. 

Hours & Fees

Camp Hours vary by location, please check your campus details carefully.  The majority of locations operate Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.  We also offer optional Pre Camp care ($30/wk), starting at 8am, and Post Camp care ($45/wk) which ends at 5:30pm, at select campuses.

Camps start at $410/week for Full Day Camps.  The Half Day camp option is available for ages 4-5 only, and is $300/week.
